OST at the Energy Storage Workshops

Our partners from OST participated in the “Energy Storage Workshops” on 17th of May organized by the Swiss Engineering Section Zurich together with the SwissCleantech business association as part of the "Switzerland Climate Neutral 2050" series of events.

Renewable Metal Fuels and the REVEAL project have been presented last week at the “Energy Storage Workshops” of SwissCleantech and Swiss Engineering by our partner from OST Yvonne Bäuerle in Rapperswil, Switzerland.

Our project technical coordinator Dr. Michel Haller gave an overview of options for seasonal energy storage in general.

Other topics included the potential of geostorage (Peter Meier, GeoEnergie CH), lake reservoir hydropower (Prof. Robert Boes, ETHZ), the project BILS – bubble-in-the-lake storage (Dr. Andreas Bohren, OST) and environmental aspects of seasonal energy storage (Christopher Bonzi, WWF).
