Did you know that Iceland and Central Asian countries share a common potential for renewable energy?

Despite having a coal-fired grid in the past, Iceland now generates 85% of its energy from renewable sources like geothermal and hydropower. With the help of carbon capture technologies, Central Asia could also make strides towards their net-zero commitments.

Energy experts from Central Asia visited Iceland with the OSCE to learn about how renewable energy could transform their own countries.
