OSCE Regional Workshop

Our partner Rauan Meirbekova from IceTec participated in the OSCE Regional Workshop on Fostering Women's Participation in the Energy Sector in Central Asia organized by Qazaq Green Association and OSCE on 7-8 December 2022.

The event offered a platform for 30 representatives from energy ministries, industry, women’s energy associations, and academia from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan to discuss regional opportunities and challenges facing women in the energy sector.

It was an honour to share the panel with strong Central Asian women who are paving the way for future generations. Iceland has made strides in gender equality, but now the focus is on diversifying the energy sector with international staff. Thank you to Rauan for representing the #REVEAL and carrying the message of equality and diversity to our project.
