EH Group is a leader in hydrogen fuel cell technologies. Their fuel cell solutions directly address the challenge of displacing unsustainable technologies that are unfit for purpose in our times but nonetheless still power our economy. EH Group's mission is to accelerate the large-scale deployment of hydrogen fuel cells for a decarbonized future.

Due to its cost-effectiveness and compactness, EH Group technology is a front-running candidate for mobile applications where weight and volume reduction are key criteria. Their fuel cell product offering can also be used in stationary applications such as backup power for commercial buildings, data centres, and long-term energy storage.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

In the REVEAL project, EH Group's role is to integrate a fuel cell system capable of converting the hydrogen produced by solid aluminum into electricity while producing no greenhouse gases. To that aim, EH Group will provide a 4kW fuel cell system.

A hydrogen fuel cell system is an electrochemical energy conversion device that works like an internal combustion engine and as long as it is fed by the hydrogen and oxygen externally, the electricity including heat and water can be continuously generated. Fuel cell power system overcome traditional internal combustion engine by zero-emission, high efficiency, low noise during operation and long running lifetime.
