ROLE IN THE PROJECT

In the REVEAL project, given the expertise in environmental impact assessment, PRé Sustainability is tasked with evaluating and comparing the environmental impacts of the REVEAL energy storage system against existing technologies.

This evaluation will be conducted using a life cycle assessment (LCA) performed using SimaPro software, which comprehensively analyzes the environmental impacts throughout the entire life cycle of the technology. Additionally, PRé will assess the circularity performance of the new energy storage technique using the Material Circularity Index (MCI) developed by the MacArthur Foundation.

These findings will be examined across various scenarios to provide a comprehensive understanding of the environmental performance of the energy storage system and its real-world applications.
