REVEAL at TMS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exhibition

Samuel Senanu, a scientist from the REVEAL project, recently participated in the TMS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he contributed to the highly successful course on Cathode Lining Materials for Aluminium Electrolysis. This prestigious event brought together leading experts from across the aluminium industry, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and technical discussions on the latest advancements in materials science.

A distinguished team of experts including Ketil Rye, Nicolas Gros, Soeren Noergaard Bertel, Asbjorn Solheim, Egil Skybakmoen, and Arne Petter Ratvik. Samuel Senanu played a key role in delivering insights into cathode lining materials, a critical component in aluminium electrolysis. The course covered essential topics such as material selection, performance optimization, and sustainability considerations, all of which are vital for improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact in aluminium production.

The TMS Annual Meeting is one of the most significant gatherings for professionals in minerals, metals, and materials research, offering an opportunity for scientists, engineers, and industry stakeholders to discuss innovations and future trends. REVEAL’s participation in this event shows that we are commited to advancing knowledge in sustainable metallurgical processes and promoting collaboration between research and industry.

By engaging with global experts at TMS 2025, the REVEAL project continues to contribute to the development of high-performance materials and solutions that support Europe’s transition to more sustainable industrial practices.
